Biography:

Anna's (although her birth certificate states her name as "Annie" she went by "Anna") family moved around a bit growing up, primarily between the nearby towns of Knowles, LeRoy, and Lomira, Wisconsin. Her family spoke German in the home and much of the town also spoke German, since this area was primarily a German immigrant farming community.

Anna eventually made her way to Grand Rapids, Wisconsin with her parents, where she married and soon after moved to Chicago, Illinois with her husband. In Chicago, she worked for the "Service Guard," from which she later retired. During her free time she enjoyed crocheting and walking.

It is unknown where Anna (Bauer) LaBarge died, but it was most likely in Chicago, Illinois or a nearby suburb.
