Biography:

Jeanne arrived to Montreal on November 16, 1653 aboard the Saint Nicolas with Marguerite Bourgeoys and the Grande Recrue. She worshipped at Notre Dame in Montreal. Jacque, ten days after marrying, was granted seven horned animals and had 28 arpents of land under cultivation at the Cote Saint-Joseph, which he and his wife still held in 1681.
