It is unknown why Leon's parents were in California when he was born; his older and younger siblings were all born in Ringwood, Illinois.

Leon registered for the WWI draft and listed himself as a farm hand working for his father in Ringwood, Illinois. He was described as medium height, slender build, with blue eyes and brown hair.

CHANGE THIS: Leon attended ISC in Ames, Iowa (Iowa State I think), but i don't know what for.
